But, there are breakable objects in both worlds. See?

Well darn. I hate learning lessons that result in someone taking away my toys!

There have been flying cars for years. Just not mass-marketable units.

To be fair, flying cars are proving to be not as practical as science fiction has suggested—that’s the large part of what’s kept them from coming about, otherwise I’m quite sure they would’ve hit the market by now as much as a decade (or more) back.

Ah, come on. You’re spoiling Doug’s fun and in about 3-2-1, yup, your fun is over too while you ignore the earsplitting yowl of outrage.

Just keep reminding Doug about this every two or three years; keeping him “well grounded”, Dad.

What would I give for a car that can fly?

That really depends on a whole lot of things.

For obvious starters, I want to know why

I’d pass up a jet for a car that has wings.

Just what’s the advantage? It doesn’t look cool

    To sacrifice aerodynamics for style.

Perhaps it relies on alternative fuel

Or proves more efficient in fuel use per mile?

How long of a runway is needed to start,

And how many places accommodate landing?

If shaky, the ride could be bad for my heart.

I doubt it would keep much stability “standing.”

There’s also the question of whether the car

Is given to me or the whole human race.

The former scenario makes me a star

But garners attention I’d rather not face.

The latter? You’ve seen what some drivers are like.

To add a dimension would spell more disasters.

No thank you; I’d sooner agree to a bike

And leave aviation to capable masters.

Maybe you should consider getting Nerf cars.

Flying cars that crash into Dad or Mom are always grounded.

@ Brian Anderson — Why is Dougies head now square instead of round like it use to be ? he looks kinda creepy with a square head – just curious why you changed his look ?
