Old lady: Please help, my cat can’t get down from the tree.

Fireman: No one has ever seen a cat skeleton in a tree, lady.

If cats had opposable thumbs they’d rule the world. The land anyway. Dolphins have dibs on the wet part.

There’s an old saying, “You never see the skeleton of a cat in a tree.” They ALWAYS get down. I’ve seen video of a cat jumping off a telephone pole and running away. However, they may want you to think they cannot get down for some manipulative purpose, as seen here.

When discussing cats in trees I often point out that I have never seen a cat Skeleton in a tree.
