This guy must be even worse cook than your normal run of the mill idiot.

When they say it’s idiot proof then nature comes out with a new improved idiot.

Why bother making a fool of yourself? Most restaurants are more than happy to prepare something for take-out!

Apparently not.

This just happened to me. Got bored, decided to try making a lemon meringue pie. A disaster from start to finish. (Example: Left the lemon juice out of the filling.) Alton Brown made it look so easy. Only consolation: I must not be “an idiot with no cooking skills” since I couldn’t do it.

On the bright side, the recipe came out perfect (what little remained in the pot).

Must be classified lower than idiot …..

My favorite is the flaming wood spoon in the sink.

Idiots are notorious for finding new ways of ingenuity.

I would’ve hated to clean up after one of Julia Child’s cooking shows.

My general rule is if it requires more that four ingredients and three steps leave it alone. Sandwiches are always nice.

There was an idiotic Jack in the Box commercial along these lines, that showed some fool trying to cook eggs, kept breaking them and dropping them on the floor, gives up, and the narrator says “ Breakfast. Its harder than it looks”. One of the dumbest commercials I have ever seen.

That knife looks way too sharp for the likes of him to be fooling with it.

Boot camp had very exact procedures on how everything must be done, like making a bed and folding a blanket. They were trying to filter out the ones that couldn’t follow procedures before they loaded missiles, repaired helicopters, or operated nuclear reactors.

I would say I know how to cook, but given that I have diminished sense of taste and smell, what tastes fine to me might taste horrible for everyone else.

It seems that he forked himself.
