If good-Calvin were a little like regular-Calvin (or Hobbes, for that matter), he’d be enjoying this more (and looking for new ways to provoke the same reaction).

@Grog you are correct, Suzie would be the undoing of (normal) Calvin’s plan to fool everyone. Say, can that Duplicator make someone disappear? Hmm….

Today’s strip is hilarious. Every line of the dialog made me giggle and the artwork is superb. This has got to be one of Watterson’s best.

Flowers are always a nice touch. Calvin can always tell Susie that he meant to pick her some poison ivy, but can’t identify plants very well.

Those of you who have ever doubted that Calvin has real feelings for Suzie and are still in the building, remember, Good Calvin is part of the original Calvin the Bold. He just doesn’t want to admit it yet.

And boy howdy, does he not want to admit it. What a classic Calvinesque freak-out! :))

Good Calvin won’t be around for long. Bad Calvin will see to that. Calvin your image is being tarnish of being good instead of bad. Shocking isn’t it. This isn’t going the way Calvin planned.
