Be careful about real bones. My dog fractured a molar on one – a short section of a cow’s shank – and we’re looking at $$$$ to have the tooth extracted. She’s worth it, but if my experience can save any of you readers this experience, that’s a good thing. Our vet said to throw out the real bones, and any other very hard chew toys.

Yes! Interrogate all your sources. Stealing your bones is a heinous crime and you should seek out the thief and reclaim your bone.
