    Seven years ago, we got a puppy that barked at just about everything, thought it was cute. Sheela hasn’t shut up since.

    Mom always blamed Dad for teaching our beagle how to bark. Think he would have figured it out anyway.

    Our Lab/Shar-pei mix Clementine, who topped out at 80 pounds, discovered her adult voice at a very early age. She went from a very tentative “yip” to a very serious “BARK” overnight. I don’t recall her having a voice coach like Fred, though.
