Let’s fire up the mob. A Capitol idea.
Had a Bald Eagle alight on a tree limb overlooking the creek last year. In less than a minute the crows were mobbing it.
One afternoon when I was outside in my yard, the crows alerted me to the presence of a hawk. The hawk actually flew to a tree closer to the birdfeeders. The hawk was in plain sight, but the birds at the feeders did not seem to notice!
I see that happen at least once a year.
Brilliant! Looks like a kingbird got into the action in the fourth panel.
Darn turkeys, always trying to keep me from soaring.
It must be embarrassing for the raptors, but it saves my (penned) chickens a great deal of stress.
