Washing hands and washing ‘em often is second nature to Pluggers. They don’t even have to think about it because they’ve been doing it since the days of “Romper Room”.;-D
I carry on the tradition of my parents when it comes to washing dishes, which is doing them by hand and only use the dishwasher when we have a HUGE Company which is hardly ever anymore. They felt it uses too much energy just for a few or not so much dishes and I feel the same way.
This is so not true, I can’t even put a number on the times I’ve seen men of all ages, Pluggers included, leave the men’s room and go no where near soap and water. Even during this pandemic. Don’t ever touch the free diner cookies or mints.
With an 8 piece set of dishes.. I figure he washes just over once a week… although some dishes just need a wipe or shake so perhaps.. maybe, stretch it to a week and a half.

if that’s his day job, I wonder if he lazily doesn’t do the dishes at home

I’m not certain how we manage, but with just two people in the house, I have to run the dishwasher every other day.

My mother had 3 dishwashers- me and my 2 sisters, as Mom reminded us often.

Smart pluggers wear proper gloves when washing dishes or performing any other household chore.
