I remember listening to a friend of mine saying something like this to her baby when exhausted and frustrated. I was thinking “you do know you are trying to use logic to convince a 3 month old to act reasonably?” Fortunately, I was smart enough not to say anything. I’m sure that would have just gotten her mad at me.
