Matt, if Melissa thinks your strip is great, that is quite a compliment. But I think so too.

Saw a picture on Pinterest, “Teddy Bears: Protecting innocent children from monsters under the bed, since 1902.” And Teddy is standing on his sleeping child’s pillow, facing off a monster with a wooden sword and a shield…My Leo The Lion destroyed monsters so well, I never even knew they’d been in my closet or under my bed. And, just once, never repeated, my brother hid in my closet and popped out at me. I grabbed Leo by his tail and swung at my brother and actually hit him!!! Leo and Lil Sister: One. Big Brother: zero and a ""smack upside-a you head" from my Dad.

They are making a book!!! OMG!!! YES!!!! I LOVE IT!

This breaks my heart. I have been in Duckie’s position: fiercely desiring to protect someone with all my heart and utterly powerless to do so.
