Freshly cut grass, rain on dry soil……

Ahem… did you clean the lawn of the dog’s winter ‘presents’?

Oh Ben is just enjoying how nice his lawn looks now that it’s all mowed.

That’s how I look after mowing my lawn, although it’s typically from feeling like I had a heart attack. Mowing is one of the least favorite things I want to do, but it would probably upset the neighbors if I didn’t!

If I saw a man supine on a lawn with a mower next to him, I’d be calling for aid.

Now especially, I love my yard. A place of green that I can go out into without a mask or having to dodge strangers who have trouble with social distance. My sincere sympathy to those stuck in cities right now.

Really, Liv? Given the way you are about your flowers, I wouldn’t be mocking Ben that way.

i’ve mowed my lawn a 1/2 dozen times already. i like the exercise i get but when i have to bag my lawn that’s the pits.

Where does Ben live that he’s just in his first cut?

I love living next door to someone who has a lawn. Better them than me.

There really is nothing like the smell of a freshly mown lawn.

We had a lot of rain this week. My grass was pretty high even though I cut weekly. I mulch and don’t cut too short.

I hate my lawn, so in revenge, I’m digging up almost half and turning it into garden space for plants that WILL grow. >:-D

I was out in the back yard (little grass in front of house – driveway takes up the front) and the weeds are 4 feet high and one can no longer see the poison ivy to avoid it. When husband sees the yard he will be ill again – no way we can deal with it.
