Revelation is not dead; it did not stop with John of Patmos. Miracles still occur every day. It is not the event that is important, but how we understand God talking to us through the event that matters.
It’s sort of like radio waves: they are out there all the time. What we hear depends on which frequency we choose to tune to. The minutiae of daily life is a cacophony of signals; they are the noise that drown out the message. You have to make time, every day if possible, to tune it out and listen.
Saints do walk among us; we may never see them and we may never know their names.
