I know how the ‘Sack’ story ends, but I still want to see the end, too. This weekend I saw this video on the YouTube channel WatchMojo that relates to this. The episode was about cartoon fan theories that will ruin your childhood. For ‘Peanuts’, they featured a theory that Charlie Brown is dying from cancer, and what we see is from his imagination. It reminded me of a similar bleak fan theory for the sitcom ‘Friends’. The theory is that one the characters (I won’t say whom; it makes it quite depressing) is homeless and has been watching the others through the window of the coffee house. The entire series is the fantasies of this person as part of their circle. Why do people have to ascribe such bleak explanations to things that make others happy?
With that said, it helps the ‘Sack’ story make sense. Perhaps Charlie really has a tumor, not a rash, but he chooses to believe it’s a rash. He wears the sack as a way to deal with the side effects of his treatment. And at camp, he is taking advantage of his last chance to be something. If I’ve bummed anyone out, go back to today’s strip with Snoopy.

If one sleeps on ones back apnea and loud snoring happens, so I try to sleep on the side that has less congestion in the nose.

Hey, so the camp arc is over and nothing went wrong?! Charlie Brown just had the best summer of his life with no strings attached?! Wow!

Now that would have to be a weird feeling; especially when you’re trying to sleep!

That explains a lot.

Peppermint Patty would have no problem explaining that Snoopy has to eat an extra meal every day to support his nose.
