Slow around here today. I have been online shopping. I bought a rug a few days ago when I was in town. I found a wool rug for in front of our fireplace that fits our style likes at Macy’s. I paid $450 dollars for it (a price we were uncomfortable with). So today I went online and found the exact same rug and just bought it for $186. I wonder how these stores can justify these big markups. By the way the price I paid at the store was a sale price and the retail price was $499, twenty dollars higher than it was supposed to be.
I will let hopfully stand, even though I meant hopefully. Somehow it seems a more appropriate comment considering Cache’s enthusiasm for bounding about.
WELL, IT’S OFFICIAL! I’M OLD! Came home from work, and in the mailbox was an invitation to my 40th High School Reunion! Geez!!! Doesn’t seem that long in many ways!
cleo Ever hear that old song “Turn Around”? Haven’t heard it in years, it’s about your children growing up. Always loved that song, always felt nostalgic about it, then I had kids. Now I cry when I hear it. Very touching song!
And yes, time does seem to go by much more quickly the older we get, doesn’t it?
No cleo this song. There was a version written for mothers for sons, but unfortunately I can’t find that version. Wish I could, but he!!, I cry at this one!

Good morning Locos! And as for that guy that was in the Bookers’s, he should stay away from that stuff. It makes him delusional!

Hola Joy! At least the rain seems to have stopped. It is funny how often the majority of the rain comes while I am in bed. That’s a good thing.

Yea cleo, depressing ain’t it?
cleokaya over 13 years ago
We have dinner guests arriving in the next 45 minutes, so I may disappear soon, at least for awhile.
It doesn’t depress me Dry, but the rapid passage of time does.

Are you referring to the Bonnie Tyler song? If so, I used to have the album and liked her a lot.
