The vet called today and said Cache’s surgery went

and that there was a lot of damage to his knee. But it is all fixed and he will be good as new!

My computer has been freezing up on me and forcing me to turn off the surge protector and then turn it back on. It has happened almost daily for the last few days, today it happened twice. I have also had to go through network diagnostics three times today to get this computer back online whereas LilG’s computer has had no problems. If I suddenly disappear it is because all of these means of re-establishing my service have failed and I have had to take my computer to the shop, so don’t worry, it is not that something has happened to me.

Now hold on here, mister! Can’t you use LilG’s computer?

Probably, but not very often, because she uses it for work and takes it with her. I could probably inform you of my problems, but I just wanted to alert you all in case I disappear and for some reason can not post. I do not want worry when I can prevent it.

Don’t you guys have the Jolly Green Giant down there? And how could you forget Green backs?? I’m not even American for sweet Paddy’s Sake.

I’ve been green all day, and I’m not sick nor am I envious! Or jealous. Just wearing green.

Hola Shika, that would be a bummer if it was provoked by this site, but I truly doubt it, yet we have had our hits lately.

My anti-spyware calls this site malicious. I had to over-ride it because of that. I think it is the ads.

It was BEAUTIFUL here today, got up to 66 and bright blue skies!

Oh Shika, an onion snow is a light snow that comes around in March, usually after the spring onions have been planted and are just peeping up through the ground. And a “Sapling Bender” is a heavy wet snow, but not many inches, that comes in April, wet and heavy enough to bend sapling branches. But we won’t get either this spring, in spite of what Meterologist JFri says! They don’t happen every year, just sometimes.

I have never heard of an onion snow.

Neither have I heard of them. I think that’s because Canadians don’t even think of planting anything until the end of April. Or later, in parts of the provinces.

That’s because you never lived in PA! LOL!

However, today was a gorgeous spring-like day, sunny, mild and lots of birds singing. As I may have mentioned.

Dry Have you ever seen snow that has such a hard crust that you can walk on it? When you have two or three feet covered in ice, that is both fun and dangerous.

If you break through, you hurt yourself on the ice against the legs. But as a kid, I loved it.

Time to do the dishes. In case I forget, I’ll be gone all day tomorrow but will try to pop in at some point.

Shika-Mua did we give our consent and permission for you to be gone all day? Hmm? Hmm? :-D

And yes, I have walked on crusty snow, gettin’ too old now to do it, of course, if I got ice grippers I could! LOL! Grace is not my middle name!

I remember snow that I could walk on, but that was from my days in North Dakota.

Here in the PNW you either walk in snow or on ice.

Walking on ice is not my most favorite thing to do!

Ice is for SKATING, people!

And ice hockey, right?
