Dogs who do that tend to have digestion problems, and they are looking for stomach enzymes. Either buy some probiotics or add a dollop of yogurt to each meal.
I can always tell when one of my 5 does it, tell tale litter all over their mouth. Finally, they can be left alone in the same room as the box. took awhile to train ’em ,but it worked!

One of my foster dogs has decided that rolling in cat poo is his favorite thing ever. Can’t take your eye off him on walks.
