In the 1980s or 1990s, Kelly’s estate tried to resurrect Pogo, even with a new character: A jackalope that represented George W. Bush. Except his horns came out of the side of his head, not the top. To which we were told, he was, in fact, a “bun steer.”

it is interesting to see the Pogo comics while studying that era in the country. Ol’ Walt would be in a frenzy with the current administration
