Good thing Snoopy didn’t go as far as he did in his comic.

I did it. I finished. As a new reader of The Big Picture, I was compelled to start from the beginning (Nov. 1999). I read one or two (or more) months each evening. I am so glad I did this. There are several gems in the mix along with all the smiles, laughs, and eye-rolls The Big Picture provides. (When I hit July 2004 and the passing of Ginger, those strips evoked very strong emotional and physical memories for me. I relived the passing of my Madeleine.) While I’m finished, I’m happy to know there will something new on The Big Picture each day (yeah, yeah, I know only an actual new one every few days—but I love the subtle changes and searching for Ginger). On my journey I did find something remarkable. Could it be an eerie foreshadowing of Homeslice? The color version says it best. Check it out at April 18, 2013. Thanks Lennie for hours and hours of fun! Looking forward to more each day. (Now on to the history of Dog Eat Doug.)
