Way back when, I trained with a guy in what he called “The esoteric art of broom and shovel”

His theory was that if a person needed a handy weapon not only were these items likely to be available, but they are hard to work with and most people would not know how to use them effectively

I do know where every broom is at work

I have grown to like spiders, they’re better than earwigs and vine weevils.

it amazes me how many people are afraid of a spider. i guess it could come from a childhood experience. my niece freaks out when ever she sees one no matter how big or where.
