Actually my wife defines “nice” as a place that I have to wear at least a sport coat and tie.
I’m fairly certain the “Trump Virus” pandemic has killed those few places off in my state (NM) as they would not be open for “take-out” during the “Stay At Home” phase of the quarantine. and so would have had no way to maintain an “income stream” during the crisis.
A nice place would be one where no one is allowed to use their cell phone inside and everyone has to take their hat off when they sit down. So far as I know, there are no nice places anymore and haven’t been for some while.

As soon as the restaurants are opened for dine-in I’m taking my kids to a Japanese restaurant, the tappenyaki is fancy and fun.

The Burger Barge on the Illinois River in East Peoria. Great burgers AND the infamous Breaded Luciano Cheese Blobs.
