We had a beagle who jumped up on the table and ate all the devilled eggs. My mother got so mad she beat the dog with a broom. The dog never touched eggs again, but she still got onto the table.

Something about beagles! Our beagle ate half the food on my daughter’s plate when she walked away for (literally) 5 seconds!
