You can brush and still have gunk between your teeth; you need to floss, too. In fact, I have been told by two dental hygienists and a dentist that if you floss after every meal and never brush, you’ll keep your teeth longer than if you brush after every meal and never floss. But if want to keep them, period, you need to do both.

I still remember a poster that hung on the wall of my dentist’s office nearly 50 years ago
It said “You don’t need to brush all your teeth, just the ones you want to keep”

Toby, I’m 34 years old and I’m about to get partial dentures. There were things I could’ve done to prevent it. So go brush your teeth!
