Seems to be a few people in the comments here missing Chip’s point about how wonderful life can be when a diverse group lives together in (generally speaking) peace and harmony.

At least that’s my interpretation.

Damn cat has still got to go. Nate is destined for cat scratch fever!

Oh, I’ve never loved Louie more! Always loyal no matter what.

We have always had dogs and cats. The smart dogs, Labs and Sheperds, don’t have to be told more than once that the cats are in charge. The stupid one was given to a friend after the stitches were removed and the fur grew back. Right now our Labs and cats are best friends. The three year old “puppy” still forgets at times, but the cats are more than ready to remind her.

I had a pet rat once. He LOVED raw broccoli.

Louie is loyal to a fault! I love it. But Scratch didn’t mean to do it.
