A black cloud/mood settles over Charlie Brown as Lucy approaches. She asks loudly, "So you couldn't do it, eh Charlie Brown? You couldn't get just one more man out!"<BR><BR> Aggravated, Charlie Brown walks off the mound. Lucy continues talking, "You had to let him Hit a home-run, and win the game! Boy, what a pitcher! What a lousy pitcher!!"<BR><BR> Lucy stands alone on the mound and looks around.<BR><BR> She says, with a smile, "I'm still amazed at how far you can see standing here on the pitcher's mound...."<BR><BR>

I’d suggest making Lucy pitch a game or two, but she’d probably spend too much time calling Schroeder to the mound for “conferences”.
