The townsfolk were thrilled when a migrating flock of curling stones landed on their pond !

The rough sport of curling claims another victim. The crowd is hushed as they slide off the injured player.

Canadian weather is nice/ but you’ll probably want to think twice/ before relocation/ to that friendly nation/ unless you are partial to ice.

On the ice that covers the bay/ ’neath a sky that is frigid and gray/ their spending the day/ the Canadian way/ just curling their cares away ..
