Two strips in a row (on my list) with “it’s the end of the world”. It’s still early, I wonder how many more will follow this theme.

Practically everyone around here stopped wearing masks when Phase 1 restrictions were lifted … new cases doubled in the first week of June and I expect there was an even larger increase last week, don’t have the report yet.

The world has already survived thousands of predictions of its end. Some by scientists, some by prophets, ancient calendars, poets, fortune tellers, priests, rabbis, and even cell phone companies.

REM sorta owned the late 80’s MTV rotation. You couldn’t throw a rock without hitting “Losing my Religion” or “Stand”…

I can just imagine what a singing turtle and miniature T-Rex sound like. No wonder the whole world complained.

The end of the World as we know it isn’t really anything to worry about. It’s only a transition to a different version that will hopefully be better. Unfortunately it appears to be taking a turn for the worse.

Back in late January, I had a dream that the world is going to end on August 5 of this year. If the cause was specified I don’t remember, but the date was very clear.

I’m not saying I believe this and I’m not taking any special precautions, but I’ll put it this way: If the world ends on July 16, I’ll be very surprised. If the word ends on October 20, I’ll be very surprised. If the world ends on August 5, I’ll be slightly less surprised.

I agree guys, some people are just too touchy. A friend and I were talking today about the difference between forgiveness and forgetting. The conversation became about how some people just can’t let go. Some people will b!tch about not having any thing to b!tch about, some people look for a reason to be offended or angry. It is almost as if they can only feel in control of their lives with these negative emotions. I don’t advocate forgetting wrongs, to do so invites the same thing happening again. I do believe forgiveness is a gift you give yourself though.
