Frieda holds her cat. Lucy walks by and says, "No! Why should I?"<BR><BR> Violet walks by Frieda and says, "No!"<BR><BR> Linus walks by Frieda and says, "No! Absolutely no! Take care of your own stupid cat!"<BR><BR> Frieda says, "But I'm going to the library and they won't let me bring Faron in!"<BR><BR> Linus says, "Well, get someone else to hold him! I'm not going to do it!"<BR><BR> Frieda says, "Who can I get?"<BR><BR> Frieda smiles and says, "Charlie Brown, I don't suppose you'd be willing to . . ." Charlie Brown says, "No! Good grief, no!!"<BR><BR> Frieda sighs and looks around.<BR><BR> Frieda smiles.<BR><BR> Snoopy holds Frieda's cat and thinks, "How do things like this happen?"<BR><BR>

i ACTUALLY felt sorry for her in the 4th panel when she said “but i’m going to the library…..” this just goes to show how kind-hearted snoopy, even though she critisises him so much, he helped her!

Yes, if Frieda thinks either Charlie Brown or Linus is going to hold her cat while she’s at the library, she’s mad(as in crazy),after the way she forced CB into looking after Faron earlier while she went shopping, so that he felt forced into tricking Linus into holding Faron,and there was no telling when exactly Frieda would come to get her cat,hence, Linus had had no choice but to resign himself to a LONG wait for her.

And it’s very plain that CB is in no mood whatsoever, to look after Faron, as seen in panel 8-he even gives Frieda a definite “NO!”even before she can finish what she’s saying.
