Sally runs through the house and says, "Will you bring me an ice cream cone, too, Charlie Brown.<BR><BR> Sally says, "I want a chocolate-vanilla cone with the chocolate on top." Charlie Brown says, "What difference does it make?"<BR><BR> Sally says, "It makes all the difference in the world . . . If the vanilla is on the bottom it leaves a better aftertaste!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "Little did I know that right within our own family we'd have a connoisseur of ice-cream cones!"<BR><BR>

She addresses her own brother by his full name?C’mon Schulz…. what’s all that about?

Seems everyone else always referred to him by his full name and Sally just went along. I can’t recall any strips in which someone referred to him as “Charlie” rather than “Charlie Brown” and I don’t know if Schulz ever explained the reason for that. Even now, to me it just wouldn’t sound right to just refer to him as Charlie rather than by his full name (assuming that he didn’t have a middle name).
