800 lbs of starving claws & sinew is no match for our hero.

I think they were each seeking an advantage, rather than a vantage point. A vantage point is a good place to get a look at things.

Now is this going to be a retelling of “Tarzan the Magnificent” with the rescued man being an American reporter named Stanley Wood, but substituting a “Blood Ruby” for the giant diamond and emerald?

I think that left paw of Numa’s on Tarzan’s right bare shoulder in panel 1 would have left some real ragged claw marks on Tarzan’s flesh. Actually, all Tarzan had to do was to drop his knife and tickle the kitty’s stomach until it ran away.

Tarzan should make it his mission to kill and slaughter poachers and cowardly big game “hunters” instead of lessening the lion population! Lion Lives Matter!!

These comics are great! Back in their day this what fans wanted to see. I realize this is a different day, but back then no one wanted a bunch of animal rights, politically correct hogwash. They relished Tarzan killing lions, body slamming rhinos, killing gorillas who step out of line, ordering elephants, tank like, into battle. I wonder how long before the politically correct protesters come after this historical strip.
