Invisible eyes wouldn’t be very useful. Light would just pass through them without triggering any activity in the retina, so you couldn’t see with them.

It was probably just the smell of breakfast. After all, they were probably hungry.

So the plot of Tarzan the Magificent resurfaces after a fashion. It must be the ruby drawing them, rather than the diamond in the book.

Jim Biggum has the face of a proboscis monkey and is Svengali loose in the African jungle? Getting dizzy yet, must be the water……. Monkey/Hypnotist lives matter!

The eyes were invisible, but fortunately, he could feel them watching? Could there be a natural trade-off between untouchable and invisible? Tarzan is here now, and maybe he can smell their spoor. But maybe the evil one is insmellable as well as invisible. How about intouchable? This is incanny, but I do want to stay intouch.
