Sure, the chili gives Broomie a nightmare, but then the monster eats her, so the monster also winds up with a horrible nightmare. And very bad indigestion.
One of the fun things about being a writer of fiction is the dreams. If I don’t like the end of a dream, I rewrite it. If I don’t finish it, I can wrap things up nicely. And, if the dream is interesting enough, I ask myself what happens next, and I have the seed of a story.

I wish it was that easy to finish a dream.. have had many cliffhangers that would have been nice to finish.
