Happy 50th anniversary, of this Peanuts strip(August 14, 2014, as I post this comment.) Charlie Brown’s rolled-eyes expression in closing panel tells it all-“Why did I even BOTHER, to tell Snoopy I was going to camp out in the back yard tonight? I might have KNOWN, he’d make a BIG DEAL out of it, the way he tends to make a big deal out of everything!” No, Charlie Brown just can’t win.
