Snoopy sits on the ground beside him, clutching his stomach.<BR><BR> Violet bends down to Snoopy. "Put some mud on it," she advises.<BR><BR> "Good grief!" Snoopy thinks. He lies on his back with a pile of mud on his stomach.<BR><BR>

I don’t know why Snoopy was stung by a bee because bees only sting as a last resort (They die after stinging) and Snoopy was just lying down.

What kind of bee would sting him when he was just lying there? It’s not the first time that Schulz showed a bias, or maybe total ignorance of bees, ignoring the fact that they’re valuable pollinators.
