My dad had a few from his days in the Merchant Marine. He wasn’t happy about them but they were nothing like what can be seen now. I have none and have no regrets. I just see no good reason for all this tattooing.

Some people like to doodle on themselves. Now that I’m old I’m really glad my wrinkled body doesn’t have remnants of youthful mistakes showing.
… and as much as we keep showing him, he won’t put coins in his ears!
I can’t understand people struggling to make ends meet having a thousand dollars worth of tattoos on their body.
Wulff & Morgenthaler always draw strange hands, but what is up with these?
Looks like the new math there.
It kind of like buying a new set of clothes except that you wear them everyday for the rest of your life.
It is hard to explain why and how to clean it off later.
From a distance they all look like someone drew on them with a permanent marker while they were asleep.
I’m 64 and never even once entertained the idea of a tattoo. Neither has my wife. Don’t see the point in it.
