Cybil is a blast.

I think that dog just fell for Cybil.

My cat is named “Ivan the Terrible” for a reason. Cybil would really for Ivan. Kindred Spirits and all.

I love the “What the #@$%?” look on the dog’s face in the 3rd panel.

What went boom? The safety handle is still on the grenade, which usually means that the pin is still holding IT on.

I get rid of more dogs this way

Where did she carry the grenade? Or does she have a supply in the tree, and probably in various other places?

If Mark had left the handle off the grenade, it would have just looked like a pine-cone; it was left on with the purpose of letting the less knowledgeable in the audience participate as well.

goof? come on! playing gotcha by asserting reality and rationality in a comic strip, especially lio, is … goofy.

I’d like to see Cybil visit the strip “Overboard”

Maybe the pin was bacon-flavored, to make the dog remove it; that way, Cybil doesn’t have to worry about timing the throw.

Nitpicking about the grenade aside, what I want to know is did Cybil get clear of the tree before it’s trunk went blooey along with her antagonist?

Cute, soft & cuddly with lots of sharp, pointy things designed to rip.

Cats don’t need to be armed anymore than they already are.
