Actually, no. I doubt if anyone has ever learned a foreign language by reading the comics. But I do believe it’s a good supplement to any language learning program. I even read Last Kiss in German to help review my German vocabulary.

andre, that would be balogna. Yet another example of the weird way the English language is spelled and pronounced. I much prefer Spanish for ease of pronunciation.
SWEETBILL & woodworker318: Interesting comments re the lottery ticket (Rex Morgan). I don’t think we know if the numbers were ever checked/confirmed. But we do know that one of June & Rex’s employees knows that Berna won the lottery and had the ticket with her at the office. Hard to guess how this is going to turn out.
