Alice: MOMMY! MOMMY! Mom: What, honey? Alice: I had a bad dream about a walking jungle gym! Mom: It was just a dream. You're okay. Alice: It walked up to our house and stuck a tube slide in the window and little clowns ran out of it... then, after Miss Bliss' bun unraveled, and took out a wall, Kevin's dog grew giant-sized and chased Daddy's car under the shrub and - MOMMY! MOMMY! Mom: Zzzzzz....

After the clowns, it’s just not that exciting.

Now if it had been a story about Little Neuro, Mom might have stayed awake.

Clowns used to freak me out and I thought I was odd. Then came John Wayne Gacy. Who’s odd now? They can really mess up a good walking jungle gym. :-(

A company logo has freaked me out. One of the logos for the company that made Rugrats on Nickelodeon had a REALLY scary face on it. I saw it when I was Alice’s age and it gave me nightmares for the next several years.
I’m sure none of you guys remember that though….

A walking jungle gym sounds more like an Winsor McCay-esque dream image. Alice doesn’t strike me as a Rarebit Fiend.

I dreamed a lot more when I was younger, and now I rarely remember what I dream at all. It’s all too abstract to remember.
