Taking out the trash is a guy thing. It’s sexist, but it is that way in every household I know.
I used to chide my mother when she asked me if I wanted to take out the trash. I’d caper around and say “Oh can I! Really! How did I earn such a privilege. WOW, I’m so excited.” Yeah, I was a smart-assed kid, but she put up with me, because I did it.
My brother and I split the chores amicably because of different priorities. I did the yard work, he took out the trash. I did a lot of very hard work rarely more than once per week and he did an easy job every day.
Since I can remember, it has always been my duty to take out the trash with the exception being when I was deployed in the Navy. I think a fitting epitaph on my tombstone should read: “Who’s going to take out the trash now!”

Paige’s excuse would be she doesn’t want to soil her blouse with stains and odours.

What’s in the trash that makes it so heavy – a body? Oh wait..

I got the job of taking the garbage out when I was about 10. Almost 50 years later, it’s still my job.

Looks like the garbage took Jason out. Look at the bright side, Peter. You can put your brother with the garbage.

My guess is most of that trash is his discarded food wrappers anyway.

If no one takes out the trash…is that how hoarding starts?

If I took trash out as a kid, that was the easiest thing my parents asked me to do.

Careful, Peter. You’re gonna get punished for trash taking…
