Some of the characters are too small for me to make out, but I do recognize Maud the Mule looking out the window. Is that Secret Agent X-9 inviting Brenda to the theater, while Wash Tubbs stands by his side, mouth agape? Could that be one of the Gumps shining his shoes in panel 3, or perhaps George Bungle, the Seinfeld of his time? Barney Google (“Me, too!”), the search engine founder.
Mutt and Jeff should definitely meet Rufus and Joel!
Nice to see Brenda Starr again! I hope you will let her pop in every now and then for us to see her and maybe her Mystery man too! Thanks Jim! Wonderful work here!
Many thanks to all those who identified and named the participants! I recognized most, but really needed help with the names. Great comments.
I think I spotted Snuffy Smith just left of Brenda.

Brenda seems to have put on a few pounds since she walked off into the sunrise.

Mm, soon enough Walt will be checking in himself. He should save one of those nice tower rooms!

What a nice tribute to Brenda Starr! I hope Annie doesn’t show up there.

Wait, maybe it’s Captain Easy next to Wash Tubbs– that makes more sense!

How nice it is to see Churchy again! I imagine Gordo is up in his room trying to get into his mariachi pants - he always had a thing for redheads.

Not Maude the Mule—definitely Barney Google’s Spark Plug.

OK, maybe Maud was more pie-eyed!

Hope Freckles & his Friends, Red Ryder & Lil Beaver and Jane Arden make it too someday. Maybe Supernan will carry them all there in his arms.
