Sea slugs come to mind…ick!
Those blue balloon-things that wash up on the beach? Don‘t step on those.
ah, for those glorious days of awakening for the 1st day of school in September without a single tan line.
Just don’t step on anything sharp, Wallace. Been there, done that!
Wallace: “Roadkill?! Quick, Spud! The game’s a foot!”
Spud is so interested in catching that first-panel butterfly that he has no input in the conversation.
Spud vs. butterfly – somehow, he will get caught in the net.
I really like the swing
TV Tarzan Ron Ely found out he had to increase his shoe size two sizes after a season of filming the show. Why do I remember that? I can barely walk across a rough sidewalk without something on my feet.
Pretty well my childhood.. the only time shoes went on was when we went to town every couple of weeks.
Mom would buy us all flip flops on the last day of school. I hated how they smack your heels on each step, so I never wore them. BARE FEET!
I thought he did it to Be free but never mind
“Carpe cerritulus” (Seize the weird)
“WWIB”. Didn’t know anything about that conflict before. Was that filler between WWI and WWII?
Lego pieces, inside the house, on the kitchen floor, while carrying a pot of boiling spaghetti to the sink to drain….
My childhood summers: no shoes!
I love this drawing so much! The bent-over tree with the swing! The twig with the cap sticking through it! Everything. I can smell the beach.
Watch our for Coney Island whitings.
