I’ve never dropped my phone in the toilet before, but I have once or twice left it in my pants which were in the clothes washer; had to get a new phone.
Pull it out, turn it off, and rinse it with a bottle of distilled or deionized (not drinking) water. Shake off as much water as you can, then put it in a plastic bag with silica gel or rice for 24 hours.
