Don’t take it any other way than a compliment Ziggy.

Ziggy, you could say; “What a coincidence. I thought the same of you.”

It’s both, but just concentrate on the compliment part.

Hmmm. People have told me I’m dumber than I look and I always took it to mean that I look really, really smart, but now you’ve got me wondering…

A very sarcastic one Ziggy!

When I tell my kids “I’m not as dumb as I look!” their usual response is “Of course not ,dad. You couldn’t be!”

When people say “He’s very intelligent,” they really mean, “He’s almost as smart as me.”

I’d say, “you’re funny, but looks aren’t everything!”

I prefer to say, “I wish I could return the complement.”

My comment is “ the longer I don’t see you the better you look!”

I have to be smarter than I look!

It’s an insult but you can take it as a compliment.
