Outsmarted by a butterfly, Peekaboo?
No explanation needed. It is the perogative of a cat to change her (his also) mind whenever she (he) decides to do so.
I don’t think that I have ever seen a butterfly drink water. I thought that they would get all their water from the nectar of all the flowers they visit.

Doggone it!
Dogs can be outside but never chained or tied to a doghouse.
The butterfly certainly looked like it was enjoying the chase. Maybe it’s a regular thing with them.
