The equation should be the other way around. What you want is number of days the haircut looks good divided by how much it cost. As it is here, buying a $300 haircut that looks good for 1 day would be vastly better than a $1 haircut that looks good for 300 days. And that’s not the way it is.

You forgot to figure in who you’re trying to impress; that’ll skew your value index. In my case, the Flow-Bee works nicely.
