I fostered a cat recently, poor little thing, I’d hear her hissing at nothing in the hallway…well, nothing I could detect. And one time she rose up in an alarmed position from a sound sleep on the sofa and stared behind me, as I sat in my recliner, at the entrance by the front door, to the point, I turned around to look, and seeing nothing, I finally had to get up and go look outside. Still nothing. BTW, I’ve had cats all my life and that’s never happened before.
