I brought my own Pilot G2 gel pens for use at work, because the company-supplied pens were cheap junk. I’d lose about 1 every month or two – I’d forget to lock them up. I then painted the ink barrels with white-out. The thefts went down to one every five or six months. I saw some lady in another department with a pen in her mouth that had a painted ink barrel. I told her I painted mine just like that. She handed it to me and said, “you want this one?” The thefts went down to maybe one per year.

At Kohl’s yesterday I thought twice and didn’t take my usual free spritz of men’s cologne.

The virus sucks and all, but social distancing has been the best thing to happen to me in years.
