tell her it uses less water to clean a bunch of dishes than to do just one or two everything you use one.
If everyone did their part to help, rinsed off their plates etc, and put in dishwasher, things would be a lot better for all involved.

More of a choking danger. At the risk of repeating myself, no husband was ever shot while he was doing the dishes.
In our House, it’s the wife and kids that leave dishes in the sink. I never do.
You die first or she dies first, it’s a win-win situation for you
