“ First, I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him back safely to the earth. No single space project in this period will be more impressive to mankind, or more important for the long-range exploration of space; and none will be so difficult or expensive to accomplish.”— John F. Kennedy
“You’re traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That’s the signpost up ahead Carol … your next stop, the Twilight Zone!” ~ Rod Serling
“A young boy and his dog, using nothing more than a cardboard box as a space ship, seemingly disappear leaving behind a scorched carpet left by the heat of the rocket engines. A belief so strong sending him into … what we call … the Twilight Zone”

Actually, in my day, it was Cape Canaveral. It was changed to Kennedy after JFK was assassinated in 1963. Changed back to Canaveral in the 70’s

I’m sorry that we didn’t get to see Rover’s tail in the exhaust hole this time. I always liked that invention.

The exhaust port on Red’s box, err rocket, is very well placed just aft of Rover’s backside.

Red had better use his imagination to remove the carpet burn fast, or he is in soooo much trouble.

They’re off for drinks on the moon. There’s a really nice view, but the place has no atmosphere.
