Andy didn’t serve much for John Bull, did he? He just lazed around, gambled, drank, womanized, whatever else he presently does also as a civilian.

Whever my Dad was upset with the rest of the family, he sayay, “Thats it! I’m packing my bag and heading to the Old Soldier’s Home”. I never found out if such a place actualy existed…

The police would breathe easier if Andy would go out of town.

Andy is an old ex-Serviceman ( sapper in the Fusiliers in Africa ) and it is his home, so shouldn’t they be contributing to him?

Proof that Andy is not a collector’s item…

Yesterday, some people were talking about driving on the wrong/right side of the road and I was wondering. Which side of the car is the steering wheel on in Malta? Over here it’s the right side. But when I went abroad last year, I noticed the cars had it on the left. It’s pretty fascinating stuff considering the history behind it.

On a couple of occasions, I have seen a “foreign” car over here.
