I’m trying to make out the original date of this strip. The artwork is not quite as clear as other strips – took a second to make the nesting dolls.

I can do her better. I gave the young boy who became my nephew when I was first dating my wife a picture book for Christmas. He opened it, flipped through it and said, “where’s the money?”.
